Vibe coding with Fliplet takes ILTACON by storm
We’ve been overwhelmed by the response to the new version of Fliplet at this year’s International Legal Technology Association’s Annual Conference.
Our CEO, Ian Broom took to the main stage during the conference and showed a live demo and spoke to Stephanie Lopez from Willkie Farr & Gallagher and James Grice from Lawfront about their experience of the AI version of Fliplet.
Get in touch if you’d like to hear what organizations have been building so far, see a demo of the new version, or login to Fliplet Studio to try it out for yourself.

App of the Month: AMDA
Congratulations to the AMDA team on winning our App of the Month award for their IODS 2026 app.
Their event app created a practical and engaging experience for attendees and event organizers, including:
- Quick access to sessions, speakers, exhibitors and event information through a clear, interactive agenda
- Easier navigation through exhibitor listings and an interactive floorplan powered by ExpoFP
- Strong attendee registration and engagement across the app’s main features
- A flexible structure that AMDA can develop and reuse for future events
The app combined clear design with effective use of Fliplet’s event features, supporting this year’s attendees while giving AMDA a strong foundation for future events.
Product Updates
Launch controlled-access software on mobile with Fliplet Hub
Fliplet Hub gives your users a native experience on mobile without requiring Apple App Store or Google Play publishing.
This reduces the time, administration and costs associated with public app-store publishing, while giving approved users a convenient way to access your software.
Read the Fliplet Hub publishing guide.
Review your project’s security before publishing
Fliplet Studio’s AI can now run a security assessment on your AI builder projects directly from the Reports tab. The assessment reviews six key areas:
- Data access
- Sign-in and credentials
- Screen and file access
- Background automations
- App code and dependencies
- Information exposure
Each assessment produces a security posture score from 0 to 100, alongside severity-rated findings that show you what to address first.
Studio’s AI can then fix identified issues and run the assessment again to confirm that they have been resolved. It also detects security rules that exist but are not working correctly, so the report reflects what is actually being enforced.
Every completed report is saved as a sealed snapshot, giving you an audit trail of how your project’s security has changed over time.
To run an assessment, open an AI builder project and visit the Reports tab in Fliplet Studio.
Speak your prompt with voice dictation
You can now talk through what you want to build instead of typing every prompt.
Click the microphone in the AI builder chat or the “What should we build?” box and your words will appear as text at the cursor.
The transcript remains in the text box for you to review and edit. Nothing is submitted to the AI until you click Send, so you remain in control of the final prompt.

Receive desktop notifications while Studio builds
You no longer need to keep checking Fliplet Studio while the AI is working.
You can switch browser tabs and continue with other tasks. A desktop notification will let you know when your build is ready or when Studio needs your approval.
The notification explains what has happened, and clicking it takes you directly back to your project. Different notification sounds also help you distinguish between completed work and a task that has stopped early.
Fliplet Studio now builds with OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 Sol
Fliplet Studio’s AI builder has been updated to use OpenAI’s latest model.
The improvements include:
- Better screen designs with cleaner layouts and more readable color contrast
- 8-10% faster software builds

Developer and Security Updates
Android framework updated for Android 17
The Fliplet Android framework now targets API level 37 for Android 17.
This keeps Android apps aligned with Google Play’s publishing requirements and helps them benefit from the latest security, performance and device compatibility improvements.

Faster Data Source filtering
Data Source queries that use the $filter operator are now significantly faster.
Filter conditions that were previously processed in application memory are now handled directly by the database. This can improve screen load times for apps working with large Data Sources, including directories, agendas and reports.
No customer action is required. Existing filters will continue to work as before, but should now return results more quickly.
