Due to a recent update to our rich text field, some apps created using the Learning solution between January 2024 and June 2024 may experience issues on the Admin - Add Content screen.
If your Admin - Add Content screen looks like the image below, follow the steps to address the issue with the Content field not having the text edit toolbar:
To fix this issue in the Content field, simply replace the screen with a new copy by following these steps:
- Add a new copy of the Learning solution to your account by click the + button from the main app listing page.
- In the left-hand screen list, find the Admin - Add Content screen, click the cog icon, and then select ‘Copy to…’
- Choose your original app from the list and click ‘Copy’.
- Once the copying process is complete, you’ll see a pop-up message and can choose ‘Open [your app name]’
- In your original app, delete the previous ‘Admin - Add content’ screen (the name should be unchanged).
- Rename the new screen from ‘Copy of Admin - Add Content’ screen to just ‘Admin - Add Content’ (this must exactly match to work).
- Optionally, you can drag the new screen up in the list (typically above the Admin - Edit Quiz screen) for better organization - it will not affect the live app.
- Additionally if your app is live, you must push an update for this change to be visible to admin users.
The new screen removes the two-step process to the form to add images/media. You can now do that directly in the Content field by clicking on these buttons:
That’s it! Be sure to test the new screen and the Content field to ensure it works properly.
