App of the Month: EY Caribbean

Congratulations to the team at EY Caribbean for winning our App of the Month award.

Their “Future is Human” conference app stood out for its innovation, engagement, and execution.

The app featured:

  • AI-powered persona assessment delivering personalized attendee insights

  • Strong participation in interactive polling

  • Rapid deployment with a polished user experience

  • Clear collaboration and vision from concept to launch

A well-executed example of how event apps can drive meaningful engagement.

Customer Story: Red Dog Media

Red Dog Media needed a fast, professional way to run its three-day Managerial Retreat without relying on printed materials, IT support, or app store approvals.

Using Fliplet’s web-based event app, a non-technical team member built and launched a fully branded app in-house, centralizing the agenda, logistics, speaker details, and real-time updates in one place. The app was shared two weeks before the event, giving attendees time to prepare and ensuring everyone had instant access on their phones.

The app:

  • Enabled live schedule updates

  • Reduced email reliance

  • Eliminated printed materials.

Fliplet’s analytics also gave clear visibility into engagement, showing which pages were viewed and by whom - allowing for targeted follow-ups rather than broad reminders. The result was a more agile, efficient retreat experience, with a reusable app template ready for future events.

Product Updates

Slider navigation updates

The customizable Slider component now gives you significantly more control over how users move through content.

Instead of relying only on default navigation controls, buttons inside each slide can now trigger fully customized actions. For example, a button can:

  • Move to the next or previous slide

  • Open another screen

  • Link to external content

  • Submit a form before progressing

Navigation elements no longer need to sit at the bottom of a slide and can be placed anywhere within your layout. This is ideal for onboarding flows, guided experiences, and step-by-step journeys where progression should feel intentional.

Developer and Security Updates

Global code version history

We’ve added version control to Global CSS, JavaScript, libraries, and data source references.

Every save is now automatically versioned, with up to 30 recent versions stored. You can preview changes, see who made them, and restore any previous version in seconds via:

Developer Options > Global > History

This provides:

  • Instant rollback if styling or logic breaks

  • Confidence to experiment

  • Clear audit trails for team collaboration

  • No more uncertainty around who changed global code

Read our guide on global code version history.

iOS 26 SDK update

Apple will require all new and existing iOS app submissions to use the iOS 26.0 SDK from March 31.

Our iOS build stack has been upgraded to use the latest SDK. Any iOS apps built on Fliplet after February 9 already meet Apple’s requirements.
